Windows7 - Hype or Not?

Should you upgrade your Windows XP and Windows Vista computers to this new operating system? Both Microsoft and Apple have released an avalanche of media. - Microsoft touting the benefits, whereas Apple is warning consumers that this could be another Vista debacle.

2Geeks4U impressed with Windows 7

Yes we are going out on a limb and enthusiastically shouting that this new operating system is indeed worthy of loading onto your computers.

  • Windows7 brings fun back into computing.  It is faster than Vista - heck, it is faster than WindowsXP on comparable hardware. Let us face facts, we all love computers that work faster.
  • Microsoft got the whole installation process right with Windows7.  Drivers are automatically found and installed.  None of those awful Vista issues where drivers were impossible to find, and if you found them, mysteriously stopped working after a couple of days.
  • Simple network setup, particularly for the home user. Vista offered much better network management than Windows XP, but lets face facts, for the average home user setting up a Vista network was far more unpleasant than a visit to the dentist.
Should you upgrade to Windows7.  If you are currently runnning either Vista or WindowsXP you need to seriously look at Windows7.

Client Testimonials

"As an author and technical economist I should have know better than to try to solve my recent computer problems. But no! Like most men, I had to do it myself--or try to. Several working days later I called 2Geeks4U to do it for me. What I could not achieve in wasted days they achieved in about the same number of hours. That's good economics."
